Second Opinion
Second opinion at Cleveland Clinic
How it works
Fully online. Two tiers: written report only, or written report plus a virtual visit with the reviewing physician.
Cost
$1,690 for Concierge VSO (written report only). $1,990 for Concierge Plus (written report + virtual visit). International rate: $4,500 all-inclusive. Not usually covered by insurance but HSA/FSA eligible. Some employer health plans include it.
Turnaround time
Varies by case complexity. Typically 1–2 weeks after records are complete.
What's covered
Multidisciplinary — covers most cancer types and specialties through Cleveland Clinic's Taussig Cancer Institute and affiliated departments.
When this is a good fit
Good option for patients who want broad specialty coverage (medical, surgical, radiation) and optional live discussion with the reviewing physician.
When to consider other options
Cases where you need hands-on examination. Cases where cost is a hard constraint and other center options are available via insurance.
